We are pleased to announce that the DANX Carousel group has launched a new funding initiative – the DANX Carousel Foundation. As a group, we believe that it is important to give back to the communities we serve, and with this initiative, we are committed to making a positive difference and driving societal change. 

The purpose of the DANX Carousel Foundation is to promote the positive social impact of the DANX Carousel group – both within our business and the near communities. The projects and activities supported in the foundation will be based on and promote the group’s three values: Caring, Learning, and Ownership – with a particular emphasis on the values of Caring and Learning.

The foundation’s focus will be on supporting learning and development initiatives as well as charitable causes and local projects in the communities where the group operates.  

Learning and development

Providing the best circumstances for learning and development is something we see as vital – especially in order to strengthening our own workforce and to continuously provide high standards when it comes to our services.

With the DANX Carousel Foundation we will support different learning and development opportunities for the group’s employees. These will be either directly related to the specific role of the employee or be training that serves as a steppingstone for developing into a new role. The foundation will also support external talents that are: 

Community support and donations

As a European logistics specialist that operates in many different geographical areas, we see it as natural to support the local communities where we are present and give back to the people who support us. Besides providing funds for different forms of learning, the DANX Carousel Foundation will also support charitable causes and local projects in the communities we operate in.

The focus will be on promoting relevant causes within i.e. diversity and inclusion and positive social impact – aligning this with our value of Caring as well as our work with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Every year the foundation will select one larger charity to partner with and work with for a longer period of time.

How to apply for funds

The DANX Carousel Foundation is run by its selected Board at quarterly meetings, in January, April, July, and October. All external applications must have a DANX Carousel sponsor. You can find more information and apply through the application form.
